Protien

There is a fascination with being healthy and strong within the United States. People will take many different supplements to help them obtain their goals for life. One of the most common supplements is protein. Protein may be effective in improving athletic performance. There have been studies that have shown that protein supplements along with weight training may cause an increase in lean body mass, strength and muscle size.

Always check with your doctor before you take any kind of supplement, do not take supplements that you are allergic to. If you are pregnant, going to become pregnant or breast feeding stay away from any supplements unless cleared by your doctor to take them. There is evidence that protein is good for your body but there is insufficient evidence in its ability to help in battling cancer, asthma, high cholesterol, obesity, and other conditions. Protein supplements are not to be used as a replacement for regular protein gained in a normal diet.
