What Is DaytranaTM?
DaytranaTM is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant prescription medicine. DaytranaTM is a skin patch that
releases the medication contained in the adhesive (glue) through clean and intact skin areas into the bloodstream
when applied to the skin on the hips. It is used for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADHD). DaytranaTM may help increase attention and decrease impulsiveness and hyperactivity in patients with
ADHD.
DaytranaTM should be used as a part of a total treatment program for ADHD that may include counseling or other
therapies
Who should not use Daytrana?
DaytranaTM should not be used if you or your child:

nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. DaytranaTM and some medicines may interact
